Waiting List terms and conditions

Please read these terms and conditions in full – you accept these when you ask to join our waiting list.

WAITING LIST POLICY

Our club places are offered on a first-come-first-served basis, strictly by date of joining the waiting list for a given club and year of entry.

A place on the waiting list is not a guarantee of an offer of a place.

You must complete a waiting list form for each child in the case of siblings, including where they will both be joining the same club list (eg for twins or triplets).

CURRENT ACADEMIC YEAR CLUBS

Year 5 clubs running in the current academic year are closed to new joiners from February half term onwards.

This is because in our experience it is not helpful to either the children in the club, or the new joiner, to come into a settled group in the later stages of the academic year.

Where a current club is accepting new joiners, we will let you know availability, or add you to our waiting list if there is no availability at the time you ask to join.

FUTURE ACADEMIC YEAR CLUBS

Enrolment for future academic years usually opens from April.

Places are offered first to students already attending a Griffin Teaching club. We then open enrolment to new students and notify parents on the waiting list.

This is done strictly in order of their joining the waiting list for that club and year of entry.

TAKING UP AN OFFER OF A PLACE

When a place is available and you are at the top of the waiting list, we will email you.

You must respond to accept the offer within two working days of notification or the place will be offered to another parent (although we will do our best to contact you in that time if we haven’t heard from you at first).

Acceptance of the offer is not a guarantee of a place. Places are secured only when full parental consent forms and payment are received, as per out main terms and conditions.
